Architecture is
a Combination of Details.

Good architecture considers site constraints, exposures,  sustainability factors including wind, solar orientation, slope and terrain, lighting, and the natural landscape
with structural engineering needs; all while incorporating design aesthetics into the initial programming for a project. Simply put: "A building should always be of the land, and not on it." - Frank Lloyd Wright

My philosophy is that every building should be designed to fit its site. It should respond to both form and function. Organic principles should figure prominently into each design and as such each design is imbibed with curb appeal. My buildings do not turn their back on the street. In fact, they have 4 fronts, each with an independent character.

As a builder, I found these were able to be incorporated into the design with the highest quality ingredients for equal or actually lesser cost.

Good quality materials are indispensable to the quality of the finished product. I use only top quality materials and install them correctly, and in accordance to the details that we've developed over years of detailing, designing, and executing over 1,000 projects here in California and throughout the globe.

My subcontractors, many of whom I've worked with for more than 30 years, have been selected based on their skill and abilities which have been proven on previous projects. Knowing the workers and their capabilities are significantly important to creating value on every project.
